Summit & Vine

This is not a package holiday. It is nine days in the Georgian Caucasus — skiing on mountains most Europeans have never heard of, eating food that has no equivalent in a restaurant menu back home, sleeping at a winery in Kakheti on the night that matters most.

Groups travel with a maximum of twelve people. Everything is chosen deliberately.

Nine days. How they unfold.

You meet your Slovak guide at Bratislava Airport at 04:00 — the city still dark, Georgia ahead. Wizz Air W6 departs at 05:00; by 11:20 you have landed in Kutaisi and cleared arrivals into Georgian spring light. A private transfer takes you to Newport Hotel Kutaisi, fifteen minutes from the airport, where lunch is waiting: khachapuri Imeruli, fresh salads, the mineral water that Georgians drink the way others drink coffee.

The afternoon belongs to you: Gelati Monastery (UNESCO, founded 1106), the cliff-edge church at Motsameta, or Sataplia Nature Reserve above fossilised dinosaur footprints. Dinner at Restaurant Toma's Wine Yard — the bread is baked in a tone oven, pulled flat and eaten warm before anything else arrives.

Classic is not the entry-level tier. It is the complete product. The other tiers add layers to it.

SOMMELIER-HOSTED

From €2,290 per person

Groups of 6–8 guests · intimate cap

Everything in Classic, plus a named Slovak wine specialist travelling with the group as your host and co-guide for the entire nine days. This tier exists for a specific reason: Georgia's wine culture is deep enough that a week spent in it with a qualified guide produces a completely different experience from a week spent in it without one. The group is capped at eight. That is intentional.

HELI-SIGNATURE

From €3,290 per person

Groups of 6–12 guests

For skiers who want the Caucasus without limits. Two heliski descents from peaks no lift can reach, with a certified mountain guide. The Heli-Signature guest travels differently from Day 1: while Classic and Sommelier guests open in Kutaisi, Heli-Signature guests fly by helicopter directly from Kutaisi Airport to Gudauri. On Days 4 and 5, Mountain Freaks DMC runs the heliski program — four drops each day, UIAGM-certified safety lead, avalanche transceivers and airbags included.

Everything in Classic

Helicopter transfer Kutaisi Airport → Gudauri on Day 1

1 additional night at Rooms Hotel Gudauri (6 nights total)

Sky View suite upgrade at Rooms Hotel

Dedicated heli concierge throughout Gudauri block

Day 4 heliski: 4 drops, Mountain Freaks DMC, UIAGM guide

Day 5 heliski: 4 drops (or backup day if Day 4 weather-grounded)

Optional UIAGM ski-touring guide day

Stamba Hotel upgrade for Tbilisi night (5-star)

Heliski contingency: If Day 4 is grounded by weather, the attempt moves to Day 5. If both days are grounded, the operator provides either a private cat-ski half-day with Mountain Freaks as substitute, or a €600 per person refund of the heli portion. This is explicit in the booking terms.

January is the inaugural season — if you want to be among the first, January is the answer. February and March offer the best Wizz Air flight pricing and Gudauri's snow record across these months is consistently strong. If you are undecided, February or March is the practical recommendation.

Each departure is capped at twelve guests. When a departure fills, it closes.
